Day 71: a normal day on highway 1
Another short entry as the days on highway 1 are looking pretty similar.
75 ish kms today on very long, very straight roads. Spent the time finishing the Spanish With Paul mini course on YouTube. I like his teaching style as is easy to follow along at 0.75 speed on the bike. And because it is YouTube, you can pre download the course.
Am thinking about investing in his main course but it is expensive and can’t pre download it for when out of network coverage so not sure if it is worth it. Decisions, decisions.
I checked into a hotel for the night for 500 pesos. Jan is here too.
My rear tire is bald. Well it has been bald for a while now. The bike shop a couple of weeks ago ordered a tire and derailleur hanger for me that have just arrived at the shop. So now they will post it to some city in front of me so hopefully will have this in a few days.
